Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of cepingku.com/en and the assessments, tools, and pages available on it (the "Service"), operated by Cepingku ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Is

Cepingku provides self-report psychological and cognitive assessments — including personality, IQ, career-interest, and emotional-intelligence tests — for self-reflection, entertainment, and general informational purposes. See our Disclaimer for important limitations. The Service is not a substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric, medical, legal, or career advice, and using it does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or any other professional relationship.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or using the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian, to use it. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts & Sessions

The Service does not require you to create an account. Each test you take is tied to an anonymous session and a private, unguessable share link used to retrieve your results. You are responsible for keeping your share link private if you do not want others to view your results.

4. Purchases & Payment

• Certain reports unlock additional detail for a one-time fee presented during secure checkout before payment is confirmed.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Creem. We do not store your card details.
• Prices may change at any time; changes apply prospectively and will not affect a report you have already purchased.
• Because reports are generated and delivered immediately upon payment, purchases are generally final. If something went wrong with your purchase — a failed unlock, a duplicate charge, or similar — contact us at [email protected] and we will make it right.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond normal use
• Attempt to bypass scoring, payment, or access controls
• Resell, redistribute, or publicly republish reports or questions in bulk
• Use the Service to make consequential decisions about a third party (e.g., hiring, clinical diagnosis, legal eligibility) without their knowledge and consent
• Interfere with the Service's normal operation or attempt to access it in unauthorized ways

6. Intellectual Property

The assessment questions, scoring methodology, report content, design, and branding of the Service are owned by Cepingku or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service and your own report for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (such as our payment processor). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any assessment score is a definitive or clinically valid measure of your abilities, personality, or wellbeing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cepingku will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 if you have not made a purchase.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cepingku harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms. Because the Service does not require accounts, "termination" generally means blocking further access from a given session or source.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law grants you additional rights that cannot be waived.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
