Methodology and limits

How Cepingku assessments work

Cepingku assessments are self-guided online questionnaires or task sessions. Each result is generated from the answers submitted in that session using product-specific scoring rules. The result is a structured reflection or task summary—not a diagnosis, credential, prediction, or high-stakes recommendation.

How a result is produced

  1. The assessment presents a fixed set of items in its defined display order.
  2. Submitted answer values are checked against the expected item IDs and response format.
  3. Code-defined directions, weights, mappings, and thresholds produce dimension or task scores.
  4. The report explains those scores within the assessment’s stated scope and limitations.

During English migration, item IDs, item counts, dimensions, scoring direction, weights, thresholds, and algorithms are retained from the executable source and checked with product-specific regression tests. User-facing wording is rewritten for natural English; the scoring construct is not silently redesigned during translation.

Assessment families

FamilyWhat it covers
Trait and interest frameworksBig Five, career interests, attachment, emotional intelligence, behavioral style, resilience, and type or pattern reflections.
Work and communication reflectionsWork values, teamwork, team contribution, leadership, management development, career decisions, and client or relationship communication habits.
Relationship reflectionsOne-person reflections on closeness, values, expectations, expression, boundaries, repair, and recent relationship experiences.
Financial reflectionsFinancial concepts, spending habits, risk preferences, and investment-decision approaches, without suitability or advice claims.
Adult task profilesVisual reasoning and adult cognitive task sessions with deliberately narrow, non-clinical interpretation.
Cultural and metaphorical reflectionsHistorical-role, historical-figure, and animal-archetype comparisons used as playful prompts rather than identities or predictions.
AI-practice reflectionsCurrent habits around AI-supported work, learning, review, privacy, reliance, and relationship reflection.

Framework references and careful wording

Some products use widely described frameworks. Big Five content is informed by the public-domain International Personality Item Pool tradition. Career-interest content uses the six RIASEC interest areas also described by the US Department of Labor’s O*NET Interest Profiler. These references explain the underlying concepts; they do not mean every Cepingku product is an official edition, normed instrument, or validated substitute for the referenced tool.

Other products are explicitly labeled as reflections because they retain a source scoring framework without claiming clinical validation, population norms, professional certification, or predictive validity. Cultural and archetype products are metaphorical. Financial products are educational reflections and never financial advice.

Interpretation limits

Self-report scores depend on how a person understands each item and answers at one point in time. Context, mood, role, recent events, language, and response style can change a result. Online performance can also be affected by device, distractions, timing, display size, and familiarity with the task format.

Use a report as one source of reflection alongside real experience and feedback. For a medical, mental-health, relationship-safety, cognitive, education, employment, legal, tax, credit, or investment decision with meaningful consequences, seek an appropriately qualified professional rather than relying on an online result.

Frequently asked questions

Are Cepingku assessments clinical or diagnostic tests?

No. Cepingku assessments are self-guided online tools for reflection or task-session feedback. They do not diagnose medical or mental-health conditions and do not replace evaluation by a qualified professional.

Does an adult reasoning or cognitive profile provide an official IQ score?

No. Performance profiles describe answers within a specific online item set. They are not standardized, supervised, normed clinical IQ, educational-placement, employment, or neuropsychological assessments.

Do the finance reflections provide investment or financial advice?

No. They summarize financial knowledge, stated preferences, and decision habits inside their source frameworks. They do not recommend a product, asset, allocation, trade, lender, tax decision, or risk level.

Does generative AI decide assessment scores?

No. Scores are produced by product-specific code rules applied to the submitted answer values. Item IDs, directions, weights, thresholds, and scoring mappings are retained and tested for each migrated assessment.

Editorial responsibility and updates

The Cepingku editorial and engineering process reviews visible English, scoring parity, access boundaries, and product-specific safety language before release. We do not claim individual clinician review unless a named reviewer and relevant credentials are displayed on the page.
